ECHR Judgements Overview – Macedonia

This document sets out the judgments handed down by the European Court of Human Rights in respect of Macedonia, since the State’s ratification of the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms   on 10 April 1997. As of 2016, the Court has handed down 133 judgments and 410 admissibility decisions against Macedonia, out of which twelve judgments and twenty-two decisions were given in 2016.

ECHR Judgements Overview – Montenegro

This document sets out the judgments and selected decisions handed down by the European Court of Human in respect of Montenegro. Montenegro ratified the European Convention of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms on 6 June 2006, three days after it became an independent state. It has been deemed responsible for complying with Convention obligations from the date of ratification of the Convention by the former State Union of Serbia and Montenegro, on 03 March 2004. As of 31 December 2016, the Court has handed down 24 judgments and 34 admissibility decisions in respect of Montenegro.
