This document sets out the judgments handed down by the European Court of Human Rights in respect of North Macedonia, since the State’s ratification of the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms on 10 April 1997. As of 2016, the Court has handed down 133 judgments and 410 admissibility decisions against North Macedonia, out of which twelve judgments and twenty-two decisions were given in 2016.
